Who you are dealing with

Ordering

Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes an agreement when we confirm it, which in practice is the confirmation you see on screen and the email that follows it.

We may decline an order. The realistic reasons are: we cannot deliver to that address, the contact details do not work, a price was listed wrongly, or the quantity is a wholesale order dressed as a retail one. If we decline, nothing is charged, because nothing is paid until delivery.

Prices

Prices are in Nepali rupees and include any applicable tax. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you place the order.

Prices can change, but the price you saw when you placed an order is the price of that order. If a price was listed obviously wrongly, an order of magnitude out, we will contact you rather than quietly charging the real one.

Quantities

A maximum of ten units of any one item per order. If you want more than that, email us: we would rather sell you a case at a sensible price than have you buy ten at a time.

Delivery and payment

Cash on delivery, across Nepal. Timings on the delivery page are estimates in good faith, not guarantees. Couriers, weather and festivals all interfere, and we will tell you if something has gone wrong.

Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over.

Food, allergies and storage

These are food products, made in a kitchen that handles seeds, nuts and dairy. If you have an allergy, read the product page and ask us first if anything is unclear. We would much rather answer an email.

Storage instructions on the jar are there for a reason; we cannot be responsible for a product that has been stored against them.

The loyalty programme

Stamps and rewards have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and are not a substitute for a refund. We may change the programme, and we will not remove stamps you have already earned when we do.

Liability

We are responsible for the product being what we said it was, and for putting it right when it is not, by replacement or refund, as set out on the returns page.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and the courts of Kathmandu have jurisdiction.
